Our Story

We have all tried using FSAs in the past to save money on our out of pocket medical expenses. Using pre-tax money could add up to a lot of savings, but the opposite happened - we lost money at the end of the year.

After talking to hundreds of other people, we realized that most of them have out-of-pocket costs that can be reimbursed with their existing account. However, they did not know what was eligible or didn't bring their debit card to places like Costco.

We decided to tackle this entire painful process, from finding eligible purchases to automatically adjudicating claims for TPAs. Silver reduces the friction in HSA/FSA programs so more people can benefit from the tax benefits these programs offer.
